E.B.P.B. honours those members whose efforts stand out in improving the attitude, expertise, and overall performance of the Band.

The recipients are chosen by the instructional staff. The following awards are presented at the Fall or Spring Ceilidhs: Presented at the Fall Ceildh

Jack McEachern Trophy
• Trophy presented to the "Best Piper"
• Trophy kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Army, Navy, and Airforce Trophy
• Trophy presented to the "Best Drummer"
• Trophy kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Strathcona Legion Executive Award
• Trophy presented to the Band member who exhibits the best dress and deportment (conduct) during band functions
• Trophy kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Dave Saul Memorial Award
• Large plaque presented to the member who has provided the most assistance to other band members and instructors
• Plaque kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Frank Cogan Award
• Set of African Blackwood bagpipes are presented to the beginner or intermediate piper who demonstrates the most proficiency
• Pipes are used for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Tom Young Award
• Trophy presented to the "Most Improved" Marching Band drummer
• Trophy kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Willie Watt Memorial Award
• Trophy presented to the "Most Improved" Marching Band piper
• Trophy kept for one year
• Keeper plaque also given

Most Improved non-Marching Drummer
• Presented to a non-Marching Band drummer who show the most improvement
• Only keeper plaque award given

Most Improved non-Marching Piper
• Presented to a non-Marching Band piper who shows the most improvement
• Only keeper plaque award given

Ron Barbulak Memorial Scholarship
• One week of summer school at the location chosen by the instructors for the Band member who meets an acceptable standard of excellence as the most deserving member.
