Where we are

EBPB will be meeting again for regular practices starting mid-September on Tuesday evenings. For the 2009-2010 year we are meeting at Shrine Center, 14510 - 142 Street, Edmonton. For information on where we meet contact the band manager at Band Manager

Space is available for the parents wanting to stay during the practices. Parents are encouraged to attend the Parent's Meetings. The Annual General Meeting (AGM)is usually held in the spring.

Marching Band members continue to practice, perform and compete during the summer months of July and August. Qualified Band members also have the opportunity to attend suitable summer schools for piping and drumming to maintain and enhance their skills.

How to join us

The E.B.P.B. Association welcomes those interested in becoming new members. We need new members to learn how to play the bagpipes and drums, and help us carry on the tradition of Highland Music in Western Canada. No experience is necessary in music, playing the bagpipes or drums as our instructors provide exceptional instruction in all phases of learning to play.

Our formal registration evening is early in September each year. We welcome and look forward to seeing new members and hope they will find their experience with the band a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

We would suggest to anyone wanting to become a new member that you can come out and meet the band and its' members any Tuesday evening. We accept new members at any time throughout the year.

Please see our 'Information' page for the address of the school and the times we meet. Looking forward to seeing some new members in the near future...
