Practices are held every Tuesday at Shrine Centre 14510-142 Street at 6:45 PM SHARP
We are always looking for new members to learn how to play the bagpipes and drums, to help us carry on the tradition of Highland Music in Western Canada.
How to join us
We accept new members at any time throughout the year.
The E.B.P.B. Association welcomes those interested in becoming new members. No prior musical experience is needed to join , as our instructors provide exceptional instruction in all phases of learning to play. You can join any Tuesday that the band is practicing.
After an initial period of training, the Pipe Major determines that new members are ready for promotion to the Marching/Competition Band with full status. At that stage, members are issued with a uniform and allowed to march with the Band in parades and competitions.
The Band will accept new members for training between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. As a youth band, members will be required to 'retire' after the age of 21.
If you can't make the registration night, please email the band with your interest in playing, or come along to a practice and meet the band and its' members any Tuesday evening (check the calendar for dates and locations).
